Life 11/17/07 Culture Shock!!!!!! I moved back to Myrtle Beach, SC in September of 2004 from Scottsdale, AZ. Though I love being by the ocean once again, I miss everything about Arizona. My friends, the Diamondbacks, all the cool art festivals, the atmosphere, the excitement, the dry heat... and especially the FOOD! Come on..... how much fried food can one possibly eat in a week. Still working in the medical industry for InMed Diagnostic Services as Provider Relations Representative. Reconnected with old friends and have made some new ones. Built a new house just a few miles down the street from my mother's home. Live 4 miles from the beach and I actually spent more time relaxing on beaches when I lived in the desert. Must change this situation. After 3 years of the Bible belt, southern hospitality mixed with a strong northern invasion, and the waiting for things to get done at a crawl, I believe I have finally adjusted as much as I possibly can....or will. Still very blessed and at the end of the day, that's what counts. By the way, I'm not a blond anymore. Back to my original brunette, natural curly mess. Old News: Have resided in Scottsdale, Arizona since 1995 and absolutely love the Southwest. I visit southern California often and the west coast is beautiful, as well as an amazing backdrop for photography. I live with a 23-pound cat, Amore, who is actually the head of the household, except for the work thing. (Kind of hard to find a job when you sleep 20 hours a day.) I recently accepted a new career position as COO for Van Dyke Laser & Shin Care--Medical Spa. I'm very excited to be back in the healthcare industry. I’m also involved in several charities. I have been very blessed throughout my life and am grateful for the experiences that have made me the person that I am today. I send wishes of happiness and good health to everyone.
